This book so far has been a very good zombie apocalypse genre book. The zombies are typical and the overall state of the region that the book takes place in is also similar to many other zombie books and literature. The nation is dilapidated and there are abandoned buildings and vehicles everywhere one can turn. The book starts to veer off course, though, when it is revealed that the main character is a girl. You are so right about this. Most if not all the time the main character of zombie, or scary book are men, and in this one the writer thought, "why a man, why not a woman that can be just as strong and powerful." This is a nice post because you put in all the good hard facts about where you are in the book, and it feels like we are reading it along with you.
