The Reapers are the Angels (P2)

Soon into the book, a zombie washes up on the beach of Temple’s island, she knows that this means more zombies will be on their way and in better condition than the one she must presently deal with. She saddles up and leaves the island. When she arrives on the mainland, she commandeers a car and begins to drive. As she is driving, her vision of first touring the country is introduced. Also on this drive, the reader first encounters “slugs/meatskins” or zombies, and Temple must battle some of them.
