The Reapers are the Angels (P5)

On the way to Texas, Temple gets distracted by some weird half-zombie-half-human creatures on the side of the road. Curiosity takes over and Temple voyages into the woods only to be captured. A few pages later, who should she see? - no other than Moses Todd himself. After being imprisoned a few days and three killings, Temple and Maury escape. Skipping over a train ride and an encounter with Lee the hunter, Temple arrives at a stronghold in Texas. Here she meets a boy about her age and goes on a daate with him.
