As I have written about, my class is doing a project called Children Inspiring Hope. Our first interaction will be each class member sending something that is important to them to the children in Ghana . I chose to send a picture description of The Standard Model which 20 physics Nobel prizes have been dedicated to. This is a physics diagram simply organizing all of the known particles in physics. It is important to me for a few reasons. First off, I love theoretical physics which is what the Standard Model made by. Also, when I get older, one of the things I hope to do is find “The God Particle”. This is the one particle eluding the Standard Model and with the discovery of it, physicists believe they could know what it was like at the instant of creation.
